A few things from the past few days
Ah, the allergies are back; spring is in the air.
Spring came a little late here in Alberta, but I am sure glad to have it here.

Steer on the loose
...Only in Ponoka.
Some fun spot news that happened today - hear a call on the scanner about a steer on the loose from the beef show & sale at the arena in Ponoka. Went cruising around to try to find it and soon enough, he ended up in a neighbourhood. He was eventually taken down four tranquilizer darts later. The steer is upset, but alive and healthy.
