Maple Madness

Shot kind of a cool event today, the Maple Madness event in Kingston. Reminded me of the Elmira Maple Syrup Festival back home.

I decided instead of creeping around with a camera that I would follow one family while they ate pancakes, went on a tour and just enjoyed the outdoors.

Zedan Cochrane, 7, chows down on a pancake during the annual Maple Madness event at the Cataraqui Conservation area. The event, which includes a wagon ride, pancakes and a tour of the sugar bush runs from Mar. 12 to Apr. 3. (Adam Jackson/The Whig-Standard).
Lexy Rose, right, leads the way up the stairs while tour guide Carol Strong follows closely behind during the Maple Madness event at the Catarqui Region Conservation area. The event, which includes tours of the sugar bush and pancakes runs from Mar. 12 to Apr. 3. (Adam Jackson/The Whig-Standard).
